Three Wheels, Two Vineyards and One Heck of a Time
A new company wants you to sip your way though Napa on a tuk tuk.
Napa has a long tradition of tours, from limousines packed with tipsy patrons, to party buses and bikes, and even an old-fashioned train and soaring hot-air balloon. The newest kid on the bottle block is Laces & Limos, a curated adventure that explores the region via tuk tuk!
According to 7×7 magazine, “founders and partners Michelle Helms and Dieter Pietsch considered many European travel destinations before deciding to settle in Napa and start their business here.”
“’We always sort of had a sweet spot for Napa Valley. It’s a place unlike any other in the world that attracts every demographic,’ says Helms. ‘We moved up here a year ago, and spent the last year exploring as locals.’”
The company currently offers four different touring experiences throughout the day, from the basic to deluxe. Their top of the line tour offers a combination of experiences including a special lunch pairing add-on option to start. Guests can then enjoy the opportunity to see and taste it all from the unique offerings of Napa downtown to the beautiful scenic countryside of Coombsville. The package includes visits to two vineyards with spectacular views and two boutique style tasting room stops.
“By developing a tour-model that centers around all-inclusive experiences with transportation eco-friendly and unique, we may just have found the missing link to tying the good times together,” Helms says, “…with so many options throughout the valley it can be overwhelming and Dieter and I wanted to create something that saves time and cost yet at the same time creates a memorable, authentic good time!”
